I hope you’re having a great day! My name is Dorothy Villarreal, and together with my partner, Ernie, we are opening up Dallas’s favorite (to our and Google’s knowledge) art supply thrift store in the heart of Oak Cliff!

We are excited to be opening our shop in August, so are currently in the process of sourcing the materials and displays-- we will be in Tyler Station, which is a really wonderful creative space! 

A little bit about us: Pegasus offers affordable, sustainable alternatives to traditional art supplies and encourages a more sustainable approach to creative pursuits. Our business is dedicated to promoting sustainability and reducing waste through the reuse of materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. Our store will also provide workshops and events centered around art, sustainability, and community. We achieve this by sourcing pre-owned or unwanted art and craft materials donated from individuals and businesses and offer them to customers at affordable prices in Oak Cliff. Our mission is to provide affordable access to art supplies for all, reduce waste, and promote a circular economy by inspiring creative reuse and recycling.

We're hoping to source a variety of items-- from paper and plastic bags, to paintbrushes, to scraps of fabric! We believe that (mostly) anything can be rescued from the landfill and be re-loved by creative minds in Dallas!
